Hi! I'm Abbie! I'm a homeschooling mom of 2 who has spent the past 10 years amassing oodles and oodles of information and knowledge on all things home education, early parenting, and child development. I believe that play should be unstructured and messy, that a library card is a one-way ticket to adventure and discovery, and kids are whole people who deserve as much love, respect, and credit as grown-ups.
Originally from Upstate NY and Northeast PA, Our little family moved to Madison, WI after my oldest daughter was born. There, we spent 8 years growing our family from the ground up and cultivating an incredible community of supportive friends. In 2018, we decide to relocate back East and start our next chapter in my husband's hometown in Northeast PA.

Over these past 10 years, I've also been a blogger, photographer, doula, educator, and public speaker. I am passionate about helping other families find the joy in homeschooling.
